Meet Kenya!

Hello, I’m Kenya Lopez, owner of Dirty Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. For years I was looking for a way to integrate my love of animals with work, earn a living and most of all being happy. With the help of my family and friends, I found it, and soon after, Dirty Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking was started.

Experience

  • Fifteen years of pet sitting and dog walking experience handling multiple dog breeds and behaviors.
  • Foster Parent
  • Volunteer at the Silicon Valley Humane Society as a Dog Socializer.
  • Help find homes for dogs that have been abandoned on the streets by working with rescue groups in my area.
  • Spay/neuter homeless cats that live in my community.
  • Helped with animal rescue in Louisiana when hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

I share my home with my husband Alfredo, my dogs Molly, Puchini, and Pepito and 2 lovely hens. You can also find me caring and admiring for my 100 house plants and counting.

Meet Elizabeth!

Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. My older sibling was very influential in teaching me to love and care for them and how to read their body language. I started pet sitting and dog walking when I was in high school, when neighbors would go on vacation I would care for their furry family members. I treat other people’s pets as if they were my own because I believe caring for animal’s needs are just as equal to humans.

Upon my experience, I have encountered medicating pets and following exact instructions from a client towards their little ones. I am local to the Bay Area and have recently graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors’s Degree. Since I have yet to adopt my own furry companion it is a big joy of mine to be the caretaker for the pets of others and share that happiness.

Meet Kara!

Hi, my name is Kara and I’m super excited to be part of the Dirty Paws team! I believe animals deserve the best care possible– they bring so much tender love, joy, and teachings into our lives.

Although I did not have many pets growing up (aside from two adorable hamsters), my life was changed for the better when I took in a very special stray kitty, Miel. She has a forever home in my heart! From then on, I’ve taken every opportunity to work with pets on my downtime, either as a dog bather in a grooming salon or pet sitter for neighbors and friends. I am so happy to be able to share my experience and love in taking care of your furry family members!

Meet Madi!

Hello! I’m Madi and I have always felt a deep connection to animals. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, and birds. Some of our animals had mobility issues, deafness, and blindness, so I also have experience with special needs pets.

My current rescue Clementine, is a deaf Australian cattle dog whom I’ve taught to know a little sign language to do tricks, commands, and communicate! I have worked with pets and in pet care since 2021. I’m super excited to get to work with you and your fur babies.
