We’re looking for big-hearted, awesome people like YOU to visit, and walk with our four-legged clients – while providing amazing customer service!

This job is perfect if you’re looking for a part-time job, with supplemental income in a fun, and active environment. You must be highly dependable as our clients depend on us to provide care to their pets.

Our schedules are based on clients travel schedule and work schedules, this is not have a 9-5 job. Our schedules are mornings, middays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We can’t guarantee a set number of hours per week because we get schedule when our clients make reservations.

We ask for applicants to commit to at least 8 months to 1 year with us. If you know you’ll be moving, leaving for school, or otherwise not be available within this period, we would kindly ask you not to apply.

Positions Available

PET SITTERS: Caring for cats and/or dogs: feeding, walking (dogs only), litter box clean up & playtime.

DOG WALKER: Generally Monday-Friday usually from 11-3pm. A typical household has 1-2 dogs.

Requirements are the following:

Must love animals, be compassionate and enjoy time cuddling and/or playing with them. Spending time outside.
Must have an insured and reliable car and valid driver’s license.
You can pass a thorough background check.
You have an Android or iOS mobile phone with GPS tracking capabilities. We use a mobile app to record all walks and visits to homes and verify location with GPS. You phone must also have the ability to take and upload photos within the mobile app.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be willing to walk dogs in all weather, including the summer heat, cold and rain weather.
Be able to lift up to 30 lbs (a large bag of dog food).
Ability to work on weekends.
Able to work holidays as this is when a large number of our clients go on vacation and use our services
Detail oriented, be able to follow and complete instructions.
Must be ok with picking up bowel movements after a dog.

FAQs

Must I have experience with pet sitting previously?

Not necessarily. However, you will need to have experience dealing with animals.

What does a typical schedule look like?

Because we work when our clients need us, there is no typical schedule.

Mornings 8-12 pm (on some occasions start at 7 am)
Middays 12-3 pm
Evenings 3-7 or 8 pm

Please note this is just to give you an idea or what the schedule may look like. Hours will vary week to week, month to month. We are the busiest during the summer and major holidays.

What are working conditions like?

You must be comfortable walking dogs in all types of weather including rain, cold, and summer heat. Our dog walkers will walk dogs for 30 minutes at a time.

Why do I have to have a smartphone with GPS?

We utilize an industry-leading mobile app to keep track of all of our visits. This is mandatory for all pet sitters and dog walkers. We provide clients with report cards and photos at the end of each visit and we verify visit lengths and dog walking routes with our phone’s GPS location tracking. GPS tracking must be enabled at all times while on the clock.
